I’ve been wearing a Timex watch since I was a child—specifically, a digital sports watch. Over the years, I’ve found myself in more and more situations where I needed to wear a suit. My old watch didn’t look very good in those settings. For that reason, I decided to buy a more stylish timepiece. Since my previous one had never let me down, I stuck with the American brand. I was looking for something with a minimalist design. I didn’t care about extra features like a date display or a stopwatch, since my old watch already had all that. I decided on the Timex Easy Reader (T20501). The chosen model is characterized by simplicity and elegance. The silver-colored case houses a white dial with large, clear Arabic numerals and black hands (hour and minute). The second hand, on the other hand, is silver, so it doesn’t distract the eye. The whole design makes it easy to read the time. The design concept implied by the model’s name has been fully realized. I am convinced that even for people with vision impairments or the elderly, reading the time will not be a difficulty. An additional convenience is the INDIGLO backlight, which allows you to use the watch even in complete darkness, evenly illuminating the entire dial. The design of the case and the black leather strap make the watch versatile, looking great in many formal settings. Despite this, it can also be worn on a daily basis. It is very comfortable, and the strap molds perfectly to the wrist after just a few wears. The only thing I can fault is the slightly too loud ticking. It’s also worth mentioning the engraving service, which produces clear and very attractive letters, allowing you to give the watch a personal touch. In summary, I am very satisfied with my purchase of the Timex Easy Reader (T20501). It met my expectations. It has a classic, elegant look. Reading the time is a pleasure. The case isn’t too large or heavy (weighing about 37 g with the strap), and the soft strap doesn’t pinch, making the watch very comfortable to wear—practically unnoticeable on the wrist.
