Details Sternglas S02-KF10-MO02
The S02-KF10-MO02 model belongs to the bestselling range of German watches from the Hamburg-based Sternglas brand. The Sternglas Kanton 2.0 Automatic S02-KF10-MO02 is a traditional watch for men, manufactured in Switzerland. The minimalist bauhaus style is due to the juxtaposition of the brown Modena leather strap with the satin silver-tone dial. The latter is protected by a convex sapphire glass with anti-reflection. The slim case made of polished 316L stainless steel houses the Swiss Made Elaboré-class Sellita SW200 automatic movement. Its operation can be observed through the glazed lid. Additional features include a date function and dark-readable indexes and hands covered with luminescent LumiBrite compound.

3/13/25This is one of my favorites. I have about 20 watches in total, and this one ends up on my wrist most often for work. It’s elegant, with a clear dial; the anti-reflective sapphire crystal improves readability and adds a touch of class. The perfect size for my 16.5 cm wrist. The strap is very high quality. Two years in and no signs of wear like scuffs or discoloration. The date window is a bit too small for my wrist, but I don’t look at it anyway. The new one arrived with a deviation of about 15 seconds per day vs. the advertised -/+ 7 seconds. This isn’t a huge problem because it’s part of the cost if you want an automatic watch rather than a quartz or battery-powered one. I also have two other Sternglas watches and I’m very pleased with them. The company offers good prices for the Swiss or Japanese movements they use, and the craftsmanship is superb. A cool manufacturer and definitely very original—I’ve never seen a watch like the Kanton on anyone else, and others (who know their stuff) point out how unique this little gem is. It’s far better than those overused brands that are often more expensive and of lower quality.
