The origins of the Orient Star brand date back to 1950, when watch manufacturer Tama Keiki changed its name to Orient, which is a Latin term for the Far East. A year later, the company decided to create an entirely new series of luxury timepieces - Orient Star. The collection instantly gained recognition among both users and professional watchmakers. Today's Orient Star - which is a stand-alone collection - combines traditional design with the application of modern technologies, used in the production of watches. Features
Thanks to the use of top-quality materials, the watch is among the best timepieces in the world. It is equipped with:
- Orient Star operates on the basis of an incredibly precise Japanese automatic-winding mechanism (cal. DK40S), with the possibility of manually tightening the spring using the crown. It has a 40-hour walk reserve, and the installed 22 bearing stones significantly increase the accuracy of the indicated time.
- "Open Heart", through which you can see the workings of the mechanism.
- The gait reserve indicator will alert you when to tighten the mechanism.
- The Orient Star model is equipped with a separate numerical second hand, located at 6 o'clock.
Water resistance
Water resistance is specified at 50 meters, so that no water will get inside the timepiece in case of splashes.
Warranty
