4/26/23For many years I wore the first version of the Mako watch.
I decided to change because I was convinced by the positive changes made to the model.
First of all, it is a true Diver, with a tightened crown and lugs, WR 20 ATM and a rotating bezel.
The main advantage is the new Orient F6622 mechanism with functions taken from much higher models: stop second and manual winding.
Operation of the mechanism solved very practically, with the crown the ability to quickly change the day of the month and day of the week. Only tightening the crown is a little more difficult compared to the previous model.
Sapphire glass is a nice addition.
Minimalist design, deep color - very suitable for smart casual style at work as well as going to the water.
The black rubber strap is my least favorite, it's comfortable, but easily collects dust and flecks. I replaced it with my own in a perishable color.![]()
