MeisterSinger Unomat Automatic UN917 is a men's watch that represents smart casual and suit styles. The watch, thanks to modern technology, is anti-magnetic - the Sellita SW 400 automatic movement is shielded by a soft metal with special properties - this makes the device invulnerable to radiation from smartphones, electrical and laboratory equipment. The model was awarded in the prestigious Red Dot Design Award. The blue single-dial dial is placed under a sapphire crystal in a silver steel envelope. The dial features double-digit indexes and a date of the days of the month. The body is mounted on a steel bracelet. Water resistance is set at as much as 300 meters, and it is also enhanced by a screw-down caseback and a tightened crown.

MeisterSinger is a brand whose origins date back to 2001. It was then in Münster, Westphalia that Manfred Brassler came up with the idea of starting his own business. By creating watches, he wanted to refer to the beginnings of watchmaking. That's how the MeisterSinger single-signal models were created. They were meant to be a throwback to the original perception of these devices - the basic function - indicating time - came to the fore again. A single pointer allows us to steer towards quality, which has become much more important than quantity in recent years. The brand encourages its customers to view time with more detachment and relaxation. Its idea is that the focus should be on the here and now, just as clock users did several centuries ago. The name itself refers to a group of medieval poets and singers who formed into a guild in the 15th and 16th centuries. The logo, meanwhile, features a fermata - a notation from a musical key meaning pause, rest.

The MeisterSinger Unomat Automatic UN917 men's watch is equipped with:
Reading the time in MeisterSinger's single-dial watches is not as difficult as it might seem. This largely depends on the developed design of the dial face. The simple design of the dial, the clear and appropriately arranged arrangement of the various elements and the subdued colors contribute to the legibility of the time.
Distinctive features - in addition to a single hour and minute hand - are both the graduation located around the dial (it counts 135 lines) and the double-digit Arabic hour indexes. To maintain the proportion of the double indexes, a "0" is placed in the hour range from 1 to 9. The graduation itself consists of three types of lines. The shortest and thinnest elementary division indicates the 5-minute intervals, a little larger one is the quarter-hour markers, while the thickest one, together with the double indexes, marks the hours.
Knowing these basics, reading the current time will not be much of a problem. For example, if the pointer of the watch is on the fourth index to the left of the 06 digit, read this as 6:20 or 18:20 (depending on whether it is morning or afternoon). On the other hand, if there is a case where the pointer is on the last division just before the 04 hour index, the watch tells you that it is 3:55 a.m. or 3:55 p.m. The same is true for 10:15 a.m., shown in the graphic next to it. The pointer is ideally located on the third division to the left of the numeral 10. Once you are familiar with MeisterSinger watches, one glance at the dial and at the layout of the pointer is all it takes to quickly figure out the time.
The water resistance of the MeisterSinger Unomat Automatic UN917 model is 200 meters, which means protection against flooding during swimming and diving to shallow depths.
The MeisterSinger Unomat Automatic UN917 comes with a two-year manufacturer's warranty. The entire watch is packaged in an elegant original box.
