The Junghans max bill Automatic 027/4007.02 is a minimalist men's watch, designed with the typical precision of the German brand. The gray leather strap is juxtaposed with the envelope, for which black PVD-coated stainless steel was used. The white dial with day-of-the-month date tracker is protected from damage by a convex sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating on both sides. The hands and indexes are clearly visible even in the dark thanks to the Super-LumiNova coating. Accurate operation of the whole is ensured by the J800.1 automatic movement, which has a 38-hour power reserve. The product is resistant to minor splashes. Junghans - innovative solutions since 1861.
Founded on April 15, 1861 in Schramberg, Germany, the creators of the Junghans brand were Erhard Junghans and his brother-in-law, Jakobe Zeller-Tobler. Many years later, in 1903, the company had the largest clock factory in the world, with more than 3,000 employees. In 1927 Junghans began designing watches with mechanical winding. In the 1950s, thanks to hard work and the refinement of successive calibers, the company established a partnership with Bauhaus designer Max Bill, which culminated in a mechanical wristwatch with a distinctive minimalist design, launched in 1961. In the late 1980s, the first radio-controlled table clock was produced, in 1990 the first radio-controlled wristwatch called MEGA 1 appeared, while five years later the company unveiled an innovative for its time solar watch with a ceramic case. To this day, Jungahns remains faithful to the simple, elegant form of its products, combining it with the latest developments in the watchmaking industry.
