2/27/26The Casio Casiotron 50th Anniversary marks a fascinating return to the brand’s roots, commemorating the world’s first digital watch with an automatic calendar. The model impresses with its luxurious black finish, which, combined with gold accents, gives it a unique character. This is my 8th Casio watch. I’ve been looking for this model for a very long time. The retro design of the original has been perfectly combined with modernity here thanks to the use of a clear display with wide viewing angles. Its maintenance-free nature, thanks to Tough Solar power and precise time synchronization via Bluetooth and Multi-Band 6 radio waves, is invaluable for everyday use. A unique touch of the Casiotron TRN-50ZE-1AER for collectors is a single gold bracelet link with an anniversary engraving, which highlights the limited nature of this edition.
