6/4/17I bought this watch because my previous Casio (I had it for over 6 years—it wasn’t a G-SHOCK) fell on the floor and the hands started moving erratically. I chose the G-SHOCK to avoid that kind of surprise. The WAVECEPTOR and TOUGH SOLAR features are the main reason for my purchase; I don’t have to worry about battery life, and my wife knows I’m always on time and she has to keep up with us :). The watch isn’t flashy (though the blue shimmers beautifully in the sun and makes an impression). You can wear it in the office and while playing all kinds of sports; it looks good everywhere and does its job. The craftsmanship, style, and design give me confidence that it will serve me well for many years, and no one will accuse me of being late. Punctuality is a trait of the watch and mine; we’re a good match, and others appreciate it too. I recommend this product—it’s worth the price.

Workmanship, style and appearance give me the confidence that it will serve well for many years and no one will accuse me of being late. Punctuality is a feature of the watch and mine, we are well together, and others also appreciate it. I recommend a product worth its price.

7/31/15I bought this for my husband once so he wouldn't lie to me about me being late. Of course, I’m still late, but I can refer to hard technical evidence that says it’s 10 minutes, not the magically imputed 50! As you can see, the purchase was ethically sound in every way. Aesthetically—blue gives hope :) at least that’s what I’ve read, so there’s a chance that he—thanks to this watch—will still be waiting for me. Technically—he’s had it for a while now and it still works great, so—socially—we haven’t formed a bond with the watchmaker. But we’re having such a nice time together :)
To sum up:
- economically—it was money well spent
- technically—it’s fantastic
- aesthetically—that blue really does have a positive effect :) -
