The Ball Engineer Hydrocarbon NEDU DC3226A-S6C-BE is a functional diving watch with a water resistance reaching 60 ATM. The working model is powered by the Swiss Ball RR1402-C automatic movement bearing 25 jewels, with a 48-hour power reserve and COSC certification. Among the watch's functionalities are an anti-magnetic system of 4,800A/m, shock resistance of 7500 Gs, helium valve, ceramic rotating bezel or a patented crown protection system. The blue dial is complemented by a day-of-the-month and day-of-the-week date, chronograph and 21 tritium micro gas tubes. The dial is protected from damage by a sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating. The envelope and bracelet are made of silver-colored titanium. The model's name comes from the Navy Experimental Diving Unit (NEDU), a branch of the U.S. Navy that deals with operational diving standards and sets decompression rules for its divers. The NEDU is actually the group responsible for creating decompression tables that show how fast a diver can ascend.
