When we are looking for the first serious watch that will also fulfill the "suit" function, when we do not know the mechanisms and the word "power reserve machine" causes shivers on our backs (same as B-class horror movies), when we just want to enjoy an elegant watch - it is worth choosing the Seacrest model of the renowned and well-known Swiss brand Atlantic. I have been the happy owner of this model for 3 years now and it's hard to say anything bad about it. I can say that it was love from the first foundation and our "honeymoon" lasts until today. Before buying it, I looked at his photos on the Internet at least once a day, and it was my most enjoyable activity before I got this gem. Let's start with what is most important for a beginner, i.e. appearance. The watch looks really great and can easily compete with much more expensive models in this respect. The classic round case made of high-gloss polished stainless steel looks phenomenal. A bright silver dial with simple indexes and silver pointers brings to mind the classical school - simplicity and elegance, and above all, eye-catching minimalism. The line of the watch is perfectly complemented by delicately spherical sapphire glass, resistant to virtually any scratch (except diamond). We get a solid watch that looks like a million dollars for less than PLN 1,000. The delicate black leather belt fits perfectly with any styling, elegant or casual. Whether it's a wedding of your loved ones, a business meeting or a walk, Atlantic Seacrest will suit you there. The watch's second strength is its Swiss quartz movement. We don't have to worry about winding it, we put it in a drawer, and after a week, as if nothing else, we can put it on again and the time will be as it should be. Water resistance in the range of 5 atmospheres (50 meters) means that we do not have to worry about getting it wet. In a word, trouble-free and designed to work immediately. The watch shows the current date, thanks to which we will not forget to visit the doctor, mother-in-law's visit or our wedding anniversary;). Let's move on to practice. The watch is light and has a diameter of 38 mm, so you can forget that you have it on your hand, and when wearing a shirt and a suit, it will easily slip under the sleeve, without getting caught on the garments. The perfect size of the dial fits any wrist - not only the small one, but also the larger one. Classic colors make it possible to match any styling. I like to wear it with my orange jacket and navy blue shoes, but it is just as great with a classic suit or a plain cotton sweater. The only thing to fault is the fact that the polished steel case will scratch. Fortunately, all you need is a polisher at the watchmaker's office and everything will be back to normal. However, do not be discouraged by this, my copy still looks like new after 3 years of use, so you need to work on scratches a bit. The watch comes in an elegant, large package and a massive box which makes it even more impressive when you open it for the first time. The Atlantic brand proves once again that you do not need to spend PLN 10,000 to enjoy the eye and have a piece of Swiss watchmaking on your hand. I am extremely pleased and the watch will never leave me. Atlantica has my grandfather, my dad has, and I have Atlantica. In the past, I didn't understand what it was about these watches that several generations in my family had them. Now I know beauty and reliability, basic features that are lacking in most modern products. A workhorse, but what a beautiful one that will measure the time when we are long gone.
