The hardened K1 glass provides much better protection against scratches and dings than popular mineral glass. K1 glass is made of an extremely flexible, synthetic material. Any harder impacts do not cause damage, but deformation. The anti-reflective coating with which it is coated will make it easier to read the time in bright sunlight.
