I am happy that I decided to purchase this model. Heart rate measurement, compass, altimeter and barometer in one device! Can an amateur mountain hiker want anything more? I'm taking it on another hike at the weekend. :)

Let me start with how the Suunto brand became one of my favorites. I am a fan of watches, along with the model described here I have a total of 5 of them, and this number will grow with time. This is my second watch from this highly regarded Finnish company. Reviewing the offerings of various models, I often came across watches from the Suunto brand, which was characterized by very high resilience in workouts taking place in difficult and demanding conditions, accuracy in performance, hundreds of hours of testing and beautiful "design". All these features were confirmed by a huge number of positive reviews from satisfied users and very favorable reviews found online.
I made the decision to buy my first Suunto watch by watching the movie "No Mercy." The main character Denzel Washington, who played there a former special forces soldier, in one of the scenes in a closed room had to "do order" with Russian gangsters. Before he acted, however, he looked at his watch and turned on the stopwatch. The camera zoomed in a lot on the model's dial and.... already felt that I had to have it. We are talking about the Suunto Core All Black.
I've had it for about 2 years now and have been very happy with it. Therefore, I decided to invest in a timepiece from this company again.
This time I wanted something "more powerful", advanced and with a design that does not let you take your eyes off what you have on your hand. When I saw and read about the SUUNTO 9 BARO WHITE I knew I had found a watch that was unique and so advanced that I had to have it, and so I did.
I ordered the Suunto 9 Baro from the zegownia.pl website, because the price was the lowest among the competition, the website was easy to read, and as it turned out later free shipping, which arrived the next day from the day of purchase decently and safely packed. For the watch from the same site I ordered an additional strap - Amber, which, of course, came together in one package, but in the end about the purchase itself....
Suunto 9 Baro White impresses from the very beginning of unpacking. A beautiful black box, along with papers and a cable for charging and computer connection, which connects to the back case of the watch with a magnet. Great solution, no plugs, just touch - and there it is. After connecting to the computer, on which I already had the Suunto app installed, the watch updated and started charging quickly. I also tried the new strap and it took about a minute to swap the white strap for Amber - it's very simple and intuitive. Having this equipment on your hand, you can immediately see that this is a high-end watch with great capabilities. It's interchangeably called a wristwatch computer for a reason. The display is easy to read and made of sapphire glass. The watch system runs smoothly and quickly. The screen is, of course, touchscreen. For use, we still have 3 physical buttons with a pleasant and tactile stroke. The clock also has a speaker and vibration. The build quality is exemplary. On the back of the watch we have 3 LEDs that glow green and yellow - we can measure our heart rate in real time. Pairing via bluetooth with a Samsung S7 phone was fast and without problems. The Suunto app for the phone also meets expectations. When we have our phone paired with the watch and someone calls or we get a text message, we can see it clearly on the watch and are informed by vibration.
A multitude of functions such as 80 different sports modes, changes in the type of time display, heart rate measurement, GPS with Fused Track technology, water resistance of 100 meters, barometer, compass, weather functions such as an alarm about an approaching storm, altimeter make it a complete companion for long-distance adventures in all conditions and for everyday use as an elegant timepiece that counts our steps we have taken on the main screen and looks great. The battery life is great, and we can decide the battery life ourselves by choosing the right modes and screen brightness.
There is also a sleep tracking mode. Of course, color graphs are present that will show us our performance on workouts, calories burned, etc.
The Suunto Baro 9 White made a great impression from the start, and it remains so until now. I recommend in good conscience to those who want a decent piece of equipment on their hands with a beautiful design and a multitude of training options, and enjoy the aesthetic dials of the watch. One more thing... by exercising with this watch, we motivate ourselves. At first I did not believe it, whereas, notorious data, results, the desire to improve performance motivates you to go to workout even when the weather is not favorable - which has no relevance to this watch. Barometer, compass and hr in one watch? Couldn't be better... I look at it and look at it, I hope to finally buy it....

In addition to the incredible facilitation of workouts on this model, I love one more thing about it - syncing with my phone and the ability to display notifications on its display. This salutary feature puts me in control of what's going on with my smartphone during business calls, and I can glance unseeingly at the watch face, instead of nervously and unculturally looking for my phone in my pockets. Highly recommended!

It's not a watch - it's a computer. I am terribly pleased with its purchase.... Synchronization with the phone works great. Thanks to the application I learned a lot of interesting routes, on top of that you can always count on the help of more experienced users. I highly recommend this model.
