The Suunto 5 All Black SS050299000 watch features a steel bezel, a black envelope that is a combination of polyamide and fiberglass, and an electronic display covered by mineral glass, whose hardness is rated at five points on the 10-point Mohs scale. The whole is complemented by a black silicone strap. The device is also equipped with functions such as activity tracking, step counter, calorie counter, GPS sensor and wrist heart rate monitor, among others. The device is powered for operation by a battery with a lifespan of up to 12 days in time mode, up to 7 days with 24/7 monitoring and cellular notifications, and up to 20/40 h in training mode with GPS. Water resistance set at 5 ATM means that you can swim and dive without an aqualung with the watch on your wrist. 4/26/23So on a good day, the watch makes a positive impression, the battery, as you can see, after the run everything important exemplarily shown, heart rate measures correctly. It interacts nicely with the app. A good watch for a reasonable price.

4/26/23First impressions are very positive. I checked the monitoring in running, cycling and most importantly for me, swimming (with HR belt). Readings accurate and available online statistics fully sufficient. So far I haven't found any problems with counting the length of distance swum, which reportedly happened in older models. And besides, a really aesthetically pleasing product!

4/26/23I have had the opportunity to test the watch over the past several days. Considering that this is the successor to the Spartan Trainer Wrist, I think the watch has been greatly improved over its predecessor. First and foremost on the plus side is its new battery and design!

Accurate readings and online statistics available fully sufficient. So far, I have not found any problems with the counting of the distance, which was supposedly the case with the older models. And besides, a really aesthetic product!
