In celebration of the 35th anniversary, Frederique Constant created the first limited edition in rose gold called Classic Tourbillon Manufacture, which turned out to be a huge success. Building on this achievement, the brand is now thrilled to introduce two new variants of the Frederique Constant Anniversary Tourbillon. These new models come with a 39 millimetre steel case, with either a blue or silver dial. Each of the two watches will be available in a limited edition of only 350 pieces each.
The year 2023 is not only the 35th anniversary of Frederique Constant, but also the 15th anniversary of the first tourbillon movement produced by the brand. These two significant milestones have inspired the brand to create two distinct timepieces. Following the release of the rose gold edition, limited to just 150 pieces, Frederique Constant proudly unveils two new editions of the Classic Tourbillon Manufacture. These new versions are made of stainless steel and are limited to 350 pieces each. They beautifully capture the luxury of Swiss Made watches and are available at an affordable price. The steel version of the Classic Tourbillon Manufacture stands out as one of the most captivating offerings in the market in terms of a timeless design and watch complications.
The models come with either a dark blue or silver dial, which gives them a contemporary vibe. The first model features a sunray finish on the dial, described as 'midnight blue', a polished steel case and an alligator leather strap in matte blue. The second version also comes with the same blue strap and a sunray finish, but boasts a silver dial. The individual number of each piece is marked on the tourbillon cage and engraved on the caseback, through which you can admire the intricate finishing of the in-house movement in the best Swiss style.
Both models pay homage to the noblest watchmaking traditions. This time, instead of a 42mm case, the brand uses a more subtle one that measures 39mm. This particular diameter has become a beloved choice among collectors, as it seamlessly suits both men and women. The dial features minimalist, slim stick indices applied by hand. The same technique is used for the hands, which are also hand-polished. At 12 o'clock, you'll find the inscription "Frederique Constant - Genève", while at 6 o'clock, a captivating window that houses the tourbillon, providing a mesmerising glimpse into the intricate inner workings of this sophisticated movement.
