Men's Eberhard Scafograf GMT Automatic 41038.03/N CU watch is an excellent model with sporty-casual design. Both the design and the high water resistance of 30 ATM rating will work well for swimming and scuba diving. The model operates on the basis of a precise ETA 2893-2 automatic movement with a 42-hour walk reserve and a stop-seconds function. This model is a combination of a silver stainless steel envelope, a rubber black strap and a round dark dial with date, GMT pointer, luminescent coating and sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating. The product features a screw-down crown, screw-down caseback and ceramic double-sided rotating bezel.
Eberhard - years of tradition and passion
The history of the Eberhard brand began in 1887. That's when Georges Eberhard founded a watch manufactory in the Swiss town of La Chaux-de-Fonds. As early as 1894, it released the first pocket watch with an innovative patented time-setting system. The 1920s saw the first chronograph wrist device and a patent for protecting the mechanism from dust and moisture. In the next decade, the brand got busy improving the chronograph. The 1970s saw the development of the quartz watch. The following years were full of new collections, often referring to historical events. There were also a lot of modern technical developments. The prestige of the brand and more than 100 years of watchmaking tradition makes it still very popular among watch enthusiasts. In 2019, a museum was opened, where you can see an exhibition dedicated to historical models and telling the story of Eberhard.
