The Certina Urban DS-8 C033.851.11.057.01 is a Swiss-made men's watch whose casual character is broken by sporty accents. Both the round envelope and the classic bracelet here are made of silver 316L stainless steel. The black dial with a day-of-the-month date tracker and Super-LumiNova coating on the hands and indexes is protected from damage by sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating. The dial is surrounded by a red bezel made of 316L stainless steel and aluminum, on which a minute scale has been applied. Precise timekeeping is ensured by the F07.412 quartz movement equipped with innovative Precidrive™ technology and EOL battery depletion indicator. The accuracy of operation is confirmed by the COSC chronometer certificate, which was awarded to the watch. 100 meters of water resistance protects the case interior during surface swimming. 2/11/22Sporty in style, it's a bit reminiscent of a Citizen or Seiko, but it's qualitatively much better, if only because it's a Swiss brand. Purchased and worn for the past month, it has not given me any trouble. Pleasant to wear and worth recommending further.
