It runs thanks to a precise quartz movement, which is powered by a battery. The case made of black plastic makes the watch resistant to small scratches.The black strap is made of high quality rubber, and therefore it's light and comfortable to use. A mineral crystal protects the black dial against shocks and scratches. The watch with a water resistance of 200 meters means it can be worn while swimming or freediving at greater depths. 7/14/15My "adventure" with G-Shock began 20 years ago with the DW-5300 model. The one where Keanu Reeves in Speed checked the time on the alarm screen :) Time was not gentle with him, so it's time to buy something new. I knew what I was looking for. Clear directions, possibly a hybrid shield. As few additional functions as possible. It was supposed to be a watch, not a smartphone. Athlete's Whim - a timer with repetition. I do not mention vitality and resistance. In the end, I chose G-Shock. I chose the GA-100 model. Another pluses out of the box. Color. Subdued black colors with green elements, the inscriptions on the envelope are in the same color as the envelope. Thanks to this, it does not stand out and does not shine like a Christmas tree. The shield illumination is an LED. There are porthole fans, I am not one of them. Belt and buckle are two rows of buttonholes. A good thing, because it stabilizes a fairly large watch. And most importantly, it is very nice :) Short summary. The GA-100 is the perfect watch for those who need a watch. Simple to use, nice and effective. You have other goodies on your smartphone anyway :)
